We are honored and ecstatic to bring some of the most talented musicians we know together for these performances. In addition to Motet regulars: Dave Watts (drums), Joey Porter (keys), Garrett Sayers (bass), and Scott Messersmith (percussion) we will be bringing in three incredible vocalists from Portland Oregon: JANS INGBER, PAUL CREIGHTON, and JARROD LAWSON. Anyone who has ever heard Earth, Wind & Fire understands that this group created some of the most complex and powerful vocal harmonies in popular mainstream music. The undeniable skills of Jans, Paul and Jarrod make them the perfect trio to command this extremely difficult yet soulful music. EWF is also legendary for their intricate and electrifying horn lines, so for our horn section we will be recruiting the powerhouse combo of Gabe Mervine (trumpet), Matt Pitts (tenor), Tom Ball (trombone), and Al Hood (trumpet). We will also be featuring two of our favorite guitarists: Dan Schwindt (Kyle Hollingsworth Band) and Ryan Jalbert (Brett Dennen).

As you can see, this year's choice of tribute has gotten us more excited than any other in the history of our Halloween shows. We would have to assume the only reason perhaps there are any of you who may not be as over-the-top enthusiastic as we are about EWF, it is because you have not been exposed to this incredible body of music.
