We just wrapped up our Hometown Hustle at The Ogden Theatre with both nights sold out, and couldn’t be more psyched! On Friday, 11/13, our friends, The Main Squeeze opened up the show and did they bring it! (They’re also opening for us at NYE at The Variety Playhouse in ATL). Friday night, we focused Motet originals and busted out some new tracks that will be released on our new album, dropping in 2016. On Saturday we brought our Mixtape 1977 set from this year’s Halloween run to our CO fans. The Spirit of ’77 featured one set of our originals, with a sit in from our good old friend Dominic Lalli (Big Gigantic), and a second set of hits from 1977. Check out this weekends’ set lists below.

For the first time ever, The Motet took to the road for Halloween. They brought their brand new Mixtape 1977 to the midwest for a four night run through, Des Moines, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, ending on Halloween night at the Park West in Chicago for a sold out show.
Next up, The Motet is heads east for a show at The Paradise Rock Club in Boston and a two night run at The Brooklyn Bowl in NYC, before returning to Denver for their Hometown Hustle.
We’re excited to announce we’ll be ringing in 2016 with a very special New Year’s Eve show in Atlanta at The Variety Playhouse on December 31. Tickets, including a limited number of VIP tickets, go on sale to The Motet Fan Club on Friday, August 14 at 2pm EDT, and to the general public on Friday, August 21 at 2pm EDT, at www.themotet.net.
The New Years shows have become a sort of “spectacle.” Last year, the band sold out the historic Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon. Watch a video from last year’s New Year’s show HERE.
